Need help on which miniDV to purchase

by Kelli / November 30, 2004 10:56 PM PST

I'm looking to purchase a miniDV. Here's a list of the minimum requirements: easy to use (since I'm 'electronically challenged'), $400 or less, good low light shots for night sporting events, still pictures on memory card, minimum 16x optical zoom. After doing my research, I'm more confused than ever.

there are so many it's hard to choose. this forum sees multiple posts asking the same question.

a quick look at circuitcity.com had this:

Samsung Camcorder (SCD103) $313

note still pix from handicams leave much to be desired. also, low light is low light, even a fancy cam will not make up for it. I do have "night shot" on my sony trv 38 and i can actually (in all green) see in the dark with it, but for night football games, i think it's gonna look the same no matter what.

good luck - fj

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
