What was everything?

Remember that some old tapes are COPY PROTECTED which will stop the usual VCR to DVD copy machine but for those that you own the right to copy to DVD the usual VCR and DVD recorder is the easy way.

Thank you for asking,,I bought a VCR with DVD combo, I try to copy the movie but again it is asking for the code, 2nd I have a comcorder that plays and record your own movies when I put the tape to transfer to Dvd does not copy the cassets so I do not want to buy the movies that I aready have in DVD's I have noticed old movies that I have in DVD's
so it has to be a machine some were that you can able to buy and copy all your casset movies to DvD's, any help will be apreciated..and thanks again. Sincerely Jungleman13

I've yet to see such a machine. While you feel your right to transfer from VHS to DVD the problem of copy protected VHS tape is not one this forum can discuss beyond it's supposed to fail. (remember that our host is... CBS)

I had an old comcorder (?) that had a failure in that only my old VHS could record from it. My DVD recorder would not accept it. For that problem I had to copy to VHS and then to DVD.
