need help on how to fix this

Feb 11, 2009 11:16PM PST

hey guys, well i have this problem...i had some registry files corrupted with trojan which my anti virus registred (talking about true sword 5 trial version) and since it is not full version of anti virus i couldnt remove those using anti virus but i havd to do it manualy, which i did. After that anti virus did not detected it anymore which probably means that i have removed it from my comp. Now, problem is that i have same issues without virus like i have it. Those issues would be, i cant open any antivirus web page as long as i dont look up for some not so famous antiviruses, also i have problem instaling Avira anti virus (whan i start instalation it just turns instalation process off without any warning), one more problem is that my printer wouldnt work, and i cant run windows in safe mode. I am 100% sure that this happends becouse of that virus (not sure about safe mode), now my question is: since i removed virus and it's not detectable, why do i have same issues as like i have virus? Can anyone help me resolve this issue, and plz tell me how Grin

thx in advance

Seems like you didn't remove it totally.

And now you're in trouble because you can't download another antivirus.

If no help comes here, try our viruses forum. Are you ready to do a clean install of the OS if that's necessary?
