Need help in purchasing a Digi Cam....

by HotRodGyrl / July 24, 2008 3:35 AM PDT

I already have a Fuji Z5 and I looking to buy another being my hubby's camera is about to die and I'm going to give him my Z5 and looking to buy another.

I'd like to have it ultra compact, FAST shutter speed, and easy to transfer photos.

Price is not an issue IF it's worth the money, and I'm a tech geek so the newest the better but IF it's GREAT camera that doesn't matter.

Thanks everyone in advance for your advice, help etc

Here are some very good ultracompacts from various makers:

Canon SD890IS
Nikon S210
Sony W170

Any of them will perform well. You can take a look at them in the store and see what you like about each and make a decision.

Here is a camera just made for you.

The Fujifilm F100fd

It has the more advanced Super CCD sensor than only Fujifilm makes.
It produces less noise than standard CCDs.
It has Image Stabilization that uses CCD shift technology.
It has a wide angle lens (28mm) with a 5X optical zoom.

Right after it was introduced, a color problem was discovered.
Fujifilm has released a firmware update that fixes the problem.

Here is a look at the specifications:

I would recommend the canon SD1100 for a tiny, fast camera. Hope that helps. Let us know what you decide on!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
