Question

Need help in deciding on all-in-one printer

Nov 18, 2013 1:13AM PST

My HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 Wireless printer finally bit the dust, and I'm looking for another all-in-one. I already have a HP LaserJet 200 Color M251nw, which I love for fast B&W printing. But I miss the copy and scan capabilities of the 8500.

In particular, the 8500 has a copy feature called "Fit to Page" that I find very useful. For example, if you put a postcard on the scanner glass and through the display/switch panel select copy > size > fit to page, it will compute the size necessary to enlarge the postcard to letter size, and make a copy.

So, in addition to the "fit to page" (or "enlarge to fit on a page") feature, I naturally want a low acquisition price and low price for consumables.

Suggestions would be appreciated!
