need help here

i need helpconnecting to my router so i can encrypt it and im trying to connet to it from my laptop and it asks for my username and password i dont know what to type in

your router manual for the default. Linksys often uses "Linksys" as the password and Belkin, "Admin" with no user name.

i just cant encrypt my router ive tried everything:pressed the button on the router for 30 secs to put it to factory defaults,tried putting in admin as username and password and ive tried the suggestion u just tried and that isnt working either the manuel isnt helping the linksys manuel was nothing i really need help encrypting my router...am i doing something wrong?

dude i really need help because that link you gave me isnt helping.is my laptop supposed to be connected to the router or can i do it wirelessly and by connected to the router i mean ethernet.

...you tell us the manufacturer and model number of your router.

For example: Linksys WRT54GS v4.0

As stated earlier, the router manufacturer's website has quick start and full manuals for your router model. That manual will tell you the default router password and everything else you need to know.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
