Yep, that happens nowadays.
All you can do: switch to Android, and pay again for all apps and music and movies, if you want to continue using, listening and viewing them.
Long ago (some 10 years), when we bought CD's for music and DVD's for movies and only had Windows shareware it was different. Now you have to choose between being held hostage by Microsoft, Apple, Google or Amazon, if you want to live online. And as it is with being held hostage, you have to pay to free yourself.
Your choice what to do.
I have been using iphone for 5 years and I just have lot's of stuff on it but lately I just hate apple bussiness practice and I see better option but I can't really get off it because All My Paid app (200+) and music and Movies are on ios and I have no way of transfering it
