Need help getting an error page from popping up at start up

by seaboltluvsdew / March 5, 2005 3:07 AM PST

I have a Compaq FS7600, Windows XP computer and I need help in figuring out how to repair putting a file back in, I guess???? I don't have the knowledge to know what has happened. Anyway, this is what pops up at the start up of my computer. If you can help me I will appreciate it very much. Runner file name Compaq Connections.exe lacks a '-' ( the app id separator) Well this is the problem. This is all I know. Can you help me solve this from popping up???

I'm glad someone has called Compaq. I never think about that unless I just don't have any alternative. Thanks for the info!!!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
