Need help for upgrades

Aug 17, 2005 7:34AM PDT

Hi, I've got a Vpr Matrix FT-7100 and I want to upgrade my video card but I don't know if I got AGP 2x or 4x or 8x. All I know from the spec sheet is I got an Intel ATX RAID Ready chipset and some controllers (USB,PCI Bridge, SMBus) have Intel 82801 DB Designation. I can't find out anything about which AGP version I got (2x or 4x or 8x), not even the vendor seems to know. Any help will be appreciated!

AGP cards

Look for a card that will match your needs. The cards will be backward compatible so it does not really matter unless you were buying a old card.
8x card will work in 1x, 2x, 4x

i recall that only 4x is compatible with 8x cards however if u have 1x or 2x slot, u need to find older cards like tnt2 i think
