need help for NVIDIA GeForce 6150

hi a buy a new main board and cpu that are :
CPU:Amd athlon 64 3000+ AM2 ,940
Ram:512 ddr2
Monitor:LG studioworks 585E
this mother board has onboard graphic that is :
NVIDIA GeForce 6150
And I have a Windows xp media center
And I install motherboard drivers cd that has graphic's driver and it work good.

My problem is : After installing drivers I change my resolution to 1024x768 , it work good and screen is perfect by best alpha and glow BUT each time that i go to
start>control panel>display>setting>advanced , and click on Geforce 6150 page at advanced part , my monitor screen being too dark and i just could use my monitor front keys and choose RESET from its menu and them my screen fixed and be good
and if didnot reset my monitor and continue being at nvidia control panel screen go too darker than it before after some minutes
why it happen please help me?
if i do not go there my screen do not be darker and it work but why it happen and how could i fix it?:( SadSad
