That pushes you to the MacBook Pro. Let me share that a friend's student went with the 17 inch and after a year of "lugging" it around wish they had gone with the 15 inch. Remember you can always use a big external display when need be.
I'm about to start college and I'm looking for a laptop to buy. It can be either a PC or Mac (I'm leaning towards Macs right now). I want a computer that won't get easily infected by Spyware or Viruses (that's why I'm towards Mac). I also want an operating system that's easy to navigate and that's reliable (leaning towards Mac again). I also want to be able to run multiple apps smoothly, quickly and efficiently. I will probably be doing extensive video editing with hardware intensive software. However, I still want to be able to play recent games and future games like Oblivion, Mass Effect, Crysis, etc. (I was leaning towards PC but maybe Mac on boot camp?). I have a budget of up to $3,500 and the latest I can buy the Notebook is Mid-September. Early thanks for your help!
