Need help finding best video camera for concert footage

May 21, 2007 2:26PM PDT

I need a camera that would be good for taking to concerts; light and easy to hold in one hand, and not too big. Should have a good zoom range, and be able to take clear footage in almost complete darkness as well as light. I'd like the video quality to be clear, as well as sound. LCD Screen would be good, too. Nothing too fancy, just something to take out and get some good videos with. I'm unsure of the price range still, so any price will do at the moment. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thank you, I really like the camera you suggested. I was originally aiming for a camcorder, though. Sorry if I made it unclear. I'm not too experienced when shopping for these things, so please excuse me. I really do like the one you showed, though. Any other tips for good camcorders would be welcome. Just not sure where to start looking. I only need a simple camcorder, but I'm not sure which would be the best. Again, more suggestions would be helpful, Thanks!
