Question

Need help finding a gaming laptop.

Aug 5, 2015 7:05PM PDT

My price range is in around $500 but I am willing and to go higher if you feel it's really worth it. I really only play League and CSGO so I would like it to be able to run both smoothly at fairly high settings. I looked at a 15.6" Acer E5-573G-59C3 Laptop- i5-5200U,2.2GHz,8G,1TB+8G SSD,GeForce 940M for $470 but the price recently got bumped up by a $100 to 570. I'm still considering it as it is a great computer but I need others opinions. Is it still the best bang for my buck? If not please tell me what is.
PS it must be a laptop as I need it for school and it must be available in Canada.

Thanks

Is this the 3rd time you asked this?

So far I find that concierge shopping services are hard to find. Even if I did do such the work is for naught as the prices move around on a daily basis.

The i5 and 940m for that price looks as good as it gets in that price range.

Sorry for kinda spamming, I'm on a short timeline. And I can't seem to find the acer anywhere that ships to Canada. Do you know anywhere I can find it? Or anything just as good to replace it that actually ships to Canada. Thanks

It's been a while since I lived in Vancouver, BC but there's

newegg.ca
amazon.ca
NCIX

But for reasons I won't dive into here, I don't go to Future shop.

Maybe more of an investment?

Hey Tyler,

The Acer E5-573G-59C3 has good reviews on Amazon. Honestly, for around $500 then those are some of the best specs i've seen for a laptop.
Good reviews + good specs + good price = Looks like a pretty good deal.

If you are willing to be more flexible on your budget, you can get some extremely powerful gaming laptops that can pretty much guarantee performance.
