Read this review of the Casio S10:
My last digital camera just died and I'm looking to replace it (a nikon coolpix 5900). I loved that camera and I'm having a hard time finding a new one that fits what I'm looking for so any help would be great.
I don't care about megapixels as long as it's above 5 which I'm sure is the lowend now. I prefer a camera that uses lithium-ion batteries as they tend to be lighter but I don't know if that's going to be possible. I need a camera with good macro, as I take a lot of pictures of cameras, bugs, and other close-up shots. As far as zoom anything over 3x is good with me. I would also like a camera that takes decent action pictures and doesn't take forever to store a picture and shoot another. An optical viewfinder is nice but it seems many cameras are foregoing these right now. Pricewise I am trying to keep it under $300.
Any help would be great,
