need help deciding on a mp3 player....please help

Aug 13, 2005 3:03AM PDT

Currently, I am looking into purchasing an mp3 player. I know I want a 20gb player and am willing to spend around $300. I have narrowed it down to the Apple Ipod, Sony Walkman HD5, and the Cowon iAudio X5.

I like the Ipod for its ease of use, both iTunes and the actual player, however I have heard that it has problems with its battery life.

I like the Sony for its long battery life, however have heard complaints about SonicStage and don't really know how good the Connect music store is.

I like the X5 for its ability to play radio/video, but am scared that the navigation could be hard with the joystick and operating system.

So could someone please give me some advice on what to do. thanks.
