I'm deciding between iRiver Clix and Sansa. Sansa is probably the better deal, but which one has better sound quality?
I'm also considering Creative's M Vision instead of the Gigabeat. Do Creative and Toshiba have roughly the same sound quality? Is they do, then I'll probably go with the Gigabeat since I'm been hearing good things about its interface....if I go the way of hard-drive based, of course.
I'm unsure of whether to get a high-capacity mp3 player or a low-capacity mp3 player with additional features. I'm mostly interested in a new mp3 player for my weekly 2 hr. car ride to and from school. I'm seriously considering either a 30 GB iPod or Toshiba's Gigabeat or the Cowon D2. The Cowon D2 seems really appealing because of the insane battery life, but on the other hand, I won't have as much music.
The reason I'm unsure of whether to get high-capacity or flash-based is that it's probably going to cost only about $50 more for 26 additional GB, and it would be nice to have an entire music collection to take with me. The only issue with me is battery life.
Which high capacity player has the best rated battery life for both music and movies? Or all they all about the same? It seems to me that the hard-drive based players all hover around 12 hrs. for music and 5 hrs. for movies, while flash-based seem to vary more, from 20 up to 50 for music.
And recommendations would be appreciated.
