Need help: connection problem on download.com

I hope this is in the right forum.
Currently, I'm trying to download the "worms: forts" 60-minute trial off download.com. It's a large download, so you have to first download a program that'll let you download the real thing (this programs icon is the little blue square with two white arrows in it).
I can download the program easily, and when I run it, it starts the download of the "worms: forts" trial. Here's my problem: when I'm downloading the trial, it just says "progress: connecting", and the download never does a single percent, cause it doesn't connect.

I have a firewall and an anitvirus, but even when I turn them off, the problem persists.

What can I do?
