You do not need to turn off your internal speakers.
If you have a regular home theatre setup, it would go something like this:
Cable Box or Satelite Box - Audio Out (digital or analog) to your Bose input.
You do not need to use the audio out on the TV at all. You can just lower your volume on the TV and listen to your Bose System, or leave the Bose System off to listen to just your TV.
I recently purchased the Sony KV-32HS420, love it but have run into an issue when attempting to hook-up my Bose surround sound. Per the manual, you can only utilize the surround sound by going into the menu on the TV and turning off the internal speakers. Not a problem, but if I want to listen to the TV using only the TV speakers, I need to go back into the menu and turn on the internal speakers. HAS ANYBODY RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM AND DOES ANYBODY HAVE A FIX FOR THIS?
