Need help choosing an MP3 player

by tigerlily6200 / September 26, 2004 1:12 AM PDT

I need help choosing an MP3 player... I am thinking about getting an IPOD but I heard that Sony has a player out and there are a couple more... Do any of them work better than the IPOD?

I'm not really a technology person - so any help would be appreciated.'

Thanks.

Buy the ipod. sony's new mp3 player only plays atract music which is their's and it sounds bad compared to mp3 or acc like the ipod plays. the ipod is the best player on the market. it does everthing you need and works brilliantly with itunes. the ipod is the one you should buy

woah hold on, that isnt quite true. ipod is nice, but there are other players you should consider. iPod has the best design, but it is lacking in features and performance because of its still lower than average battery life and so-so sound quality. some other players that are good:
iriver h120: most freatures and high performance but confusing design.
creative zen touch: best performer with 24 hour battery life and highest sound quality. also great design, cheapest, and a decent feature set with the remote, but its slightly bigger and heavier than the other players listed.
cowon iaudio m3: smallest and lightest, tons of features. but it has no screen on the main body (only n the remote), and it does not use an ID3 tag database.

personally i like the zen touch best of all, but the player you choose is your personal preference.

Why don't you have a look instead of relying on other people?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
