need help choosing a camcorder

by scifiiman / August 22, 2006 2:35 PM PDT

I want to be able to take great quality in both low light and outside on nice sunny days kind of video in true 16x9 format if possible, maybe with night vision. I want to be able to do everything from home movies to maybe a couple of fun films with friends, price that im looking at is around $700 or less. I dont care about a still camera built in. No mini DVD Camcorders please.
