need help capturing audio from analog video camcorder

by chewychicken86 / September 7, 2008 1:07 AM PDT

if i could get some help on this i would really appreciate it. To start off I have a sony handycam vision ccd-trv308. My capturing device is a encore electronics enltv-fm tv tuner pro card. I have no problem capturing the video but no matter which audio port i use on the tv tuner or the on board sound card, i am unable to capture the audio from it. I am trying to get my wedding footage to the pc so i can make a dvd and surprise my wife on our anniversy with it. I have 12 days left to get it done and i am completely lost, any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

what input device is Windows set up to record? The sound controls, including both playback and record, are accessed via the Control Panel.

What may resolve the problem is using "what u hear"
by Kiddpeat / September 8, 2008 10:07 AM PDT

as the audio source to be recorded. Here is one site which explains how to activate that option in Vista. The option is available by default in Win XP, but has apparently been hidden in Vista. Once you activate the option, you will be able to record anything which you can hear on the computer.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
