We are looking to buy our first camcorder. We would like to keep it under $300 if possible for a good quality camera. We live away from both of our families and would like to take video of our little guy, inside and outside, to send to grandparents. The ability to edit on the computer is a must. (Or help in what programs we would need to download to be able to convert the format to be able to edit on our PC.) We feel lost with all these brands out there that we've never heard of before and we want to get our money's worth out of a good camera. We know we do not want one with a disk or tape, and from what I've read we won't want a hard drive camera either. We do travel some so we need the ability to be able to keep recording without getting to a comp to empty the card. Thanks for all the help, we can't wait to make this purchase!!
