The problem is that the best value for the money may miss your gaming goal. I don't care for the 8 core because I see many complaints about random crashes. I'm not writing PCs are crash free either.
That said, the AMD A10 would be a pick for cheap gaming.
Hello. My alienware laptop recently broke and it cost me $300 to repair. It was a very old laptop and it lags even when I play games like counter strike.
