First tings first:
What is the OS ? How was the computer when you first bought it ? Is it a branded one, or built on order ? What programs are installed ? If branded, is a 'recovery disc' supplied ? Form your present information, it is: Format-partition-reinstall. It is that simple, but requires some work. But why the urgency ? What problems do you have ? What you want do do is usually reserved for on a last resort basis. There may be other ways to solve your problems.

Fdisk is a facility (a program) to prepare your hard disk for use-format, partition and to install the OS and programs. You may already have it if you have created a 'start-up' disc.

What you need to do is completly reformat your hard drive. Depending on your system you should have received a recovery CD. A recovery CD has all of your original software that was on your computer at the time of purchase. Hope that was kind of helpful.
