See if WOL (Wake On LAN) is available. This way we can use an external powered WiFi to LAN adapter.

Since your laptop doesn't support leaving the power to WiFi enabled you have to work around it with an external device.
(sorry for bad english, hope you unterstand) so i have got a windows 8.1 operating system (and this is a laptop). i want to allow for my wifi to turn on my device but i cant...(i go to this pc, properties, device manager, wifi cards, select my adapter, and than power management) it says that this device has a battery and bcz of that i can't turn this function on... Please help me guys! <3
