Need DVD/VCR Combo Recommendations

by Cydneyl / August 21, 2007 6:54 AM PDT

I want a DVD/VCR combo to play both DVD and VHS and to copy VHS to DVD.

I currently have an analog TV, will probably upgrade to digital in '09.

I don't want the DVD/VCR combo to become obsolete when I upgrade to digital. Not do I want it to be too high-tech to use with my current TV.

Also, could somebody explain why I would or wouldn't need one with a tuner?

And what is VCR Refresh Dubbing?

Any info or advice will be much appreciated. Thanks. Happy

combo units to consider
by watson Evans / August 21, 2007 4:01 PM PDT

You should take a look at the panasonic EZ47V or EZ37V . Also, the new sony RDR-VXD655 . Both have
HDTV digital tuners.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
