Need built-like-a-tank soft earbuds.

I mostly use soft earbuds to listen to audiobooks or music when I go to bed. I almost always fall asleep on my right side, with the earbuds in, and I have yet to find a set of earbuds that last very long -- the problem is with the cheap, thin cables and inadequate strain relief, especially where the wire meets the jack. Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive soft earbud set in the under $30.00 range with more robust construction than the usual cheapo stuff? I don't need audiophile quality, just ruggedness.
