Need an online workgroup solution

by cjsin / January 29, 2006 11:14 PM PST

I have a small business with 100+ individuals. Each individual has to keep a spreadsheet with basic information. Is there an online solution where everyone can keep an updated xls. online so that I can access it when I need to. I wouldnt need anymore than 1 gb. But all i've seen so far is workgroups for $11,000/year. for 500 gb. there's got to be a better solution.

MySQL on the internet. Spreadsheet with cells that load from and write back to said database.

Use Open Office, MySQL and cost is near zero outside of the server/internet connection costs.

What service do I need to use with this method?

None?

Since I could place a MySQL server on my internet connection, that could be the service.

Let me be blunt. The more you know, the less the cost. If you didn't dive in and discover MySQL, install it and begin to tinker, then anything I write may sound quite foreign. If you don't dive in, then you want the 10K+ solution.
