For now I'm putting mine to CD/DVD media and each year I file, I create 2 new CD/DVDs to add to the collection.
Since a HDD can be erased in seconds by accident or too much else, I would never consider this as a solution.
I am looking for a external hard drive for the sole purpose of storing all my tax documents and receipts for 10 years at a time. I want to be able to simply scan and save these . pdf documents, trash all my paper copies and be done with it. Any suggestions?
