http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283673 tells about enabling and disabling the Windows Firewall. I can't tell you how to do it in Norton 360. Doesn't it come with a built-in help? Or some right-click options on the icons in the system tray?

But I doubt if this is the cause of your troubles. My Zonealarm firewall is smart enough to deactivate the Windows XP firewall when running. I can't imagine Norton doesn't.

Anyway, just try what happens if you disable the one and if you disable the other. Can you tell your results?
