Need advice on selecting good headphone for hard of hearing

by jevenew / October 20, 2006 7:59 AM PDT

I am looking for a headphone that can be used by a person who is hard of hearing, to listen to TV at a volume level that is comfortable for others. I have read about some of the ads for TV Ears, but have no personal knowledge of the product.
I would like the product to have a separate user volume control, a mute might be nice, and it would have to be compatible with legacy equipment. I have a Zenith console TV, with directv TIVO, and Sony DVD/VHS combo deck.
Any advice or personal experience with this type of product would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link, Riverledge. A little pricey, but I will contact them for more particulars.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
