Question

Need advice on a graphics card

Nov 24, 2012 5:03AM PST

I am going to buy components for a new build (my first) on Monday. I don't play any games, but I do use photoshop. I am looking for a graphics card around $100. The parts I have selected for the build are listed below.

COOLER MASTER HAF XM RC-922XM-KKN1

CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91

Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz

ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GXM

SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128B/WW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I am planning on reformatting the hard drive and the optical drive from my current machine, which is a Dell XPS 435MT that I bought in 2009, and using those components in the new build. (I will take advice about that as well) I am going to use the SSD as my boot drive and keep all the my programs on there and only keep data files on the hard drive. My monitor is a DELL S2409W and has 1920x1080.

I know the mobo has integrated graphics, but I thought I might need a little more considering my use of photoshop. I would like to spend under $100, but a little more won't hurt me too badly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
