Need Advice: IBM 570E

by Bwanajoni / April 4, 2008 5:58 AM PDT

I have an old IBM 570E that is completely dead. Is there anyway that I can keep the casing and start to rebuild it with better processor, RAM and I suppose motherboard?

Is it worth it? Can I change the number of USB ports (currently only one) and add an internal CD/DVD drive?

Any advice appreciated.

Unlike desktops the motherboard and more is not interchangeable.
