Need advice for wearable device

I have a friend who is looking for a simple device that she could wear, pendant or small watch that would allow her to make calls in an emergency. A lot like Life Alert, but not sure if there are any other, similar devices. Preferably under $200. Have seen the newest Samsung Gear s2. Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you mean she doesn't want the GearS2? If she likes it, it has an app "SOS" that will send a text to predefined recipients with your location by just pushing the Home key three times quickly. This would work even if someone couldn't speak. I set mine just in case. Hope this helps.

See If she Is looking for a device that would allow her to make calls in an emergency then she can do that by their phone also because now a days every cellphone is giving SOS emergency call function and lots of apps are available in app store she can download them and use.
but if is more conscious about health and other works with smartwatch or fitness tracker then she can buy a smartwatch.
