Need a recipe for pickling tomatoes

which does not call for "canning" them. So if anyone has a suggestion would appreciate it!

I don't know if this will help.

(I've never eaten any pickled tomatoes.)

But I used to freeze tomatoes that I grew. Peeled and cut them up, and double-bagged them in freezer bags. They lasted fine until the next crop the following year.

I loooked in Google, too, but the recipes do call for "canning" pickled tomatoes.
