Need a new laptop

Ok well i have an old hp pavilion ze4500 and its is not cutting it. I need something new and fast for picture editing and browsinfg the internet. with media centes windows and hopefully buttons that allow me to byupass windows and play dvd's and cds this thing needs a 17" screen at leas t possiblt wide screen and i hope for a Intel Pentium M w. Bit Disabble (im not sure thats i what it is called it is a security feature that comes w/ Pentium M)i liked the Toshiba Qosmio a lot any other suggestions i want my price range 2000-2500 lower than 2000 is fine if the laptop meets standards. thank you in advance

if you like it and afford it--------buy it.
my G25 is 5 months old with outstanding proformance on every angle.toshiba has great warrenty,s to choose from and backs the notebook with great teck support.
