Need A new Digital cam

Jun 11, 2005 10:43AM PDT

I have looked around now for 3 weeks and I saw this one SONY DSC-P200 Silver 7.2MP Digital Camera. I also saw that some people say it take blurry images. I need this for taking nice shots, and do not need them to be blurry. I want to stay under $400 some one help me out?

Also want at least 7mp.

Thanks

Digital Camera

The Sony P200 takes sharp photos.
But.......
Under low light and flash conditions, the camera selects a slow shutter speed.

That means you must hold the camera very steady or put it on a tripod under low light and flash conditions. If you do not hold the camera steady you will get blurred photos.

Check out the new Nikon 7600 or 7900.
The only real difference between these two cameras is that the 7600 uses AA batteries and the 7900 uses a Lithium battery. The 7600 is a bit less expensive.

Here is a comparison of specifications:

Best out?

No...

The best out, will cost you about $4,500, not including the lens.

These Nikon cameras are getting good reviews and do take clean crisp photos.

Whether they are the best for you.... only you can decide.

You should visit a camera store and get your hands on one and see how it feels.

They can handle a 1 gig memory card.
I don't know if they will handle the 2 gig card.
