need a new digi cam

by COCHRWH / July 21, 2006 2:36 AM PDT

Had a Dimage G500 that just recently was broken. Really love the picture and ease of use. Now need to get something that is as good as or better with the same ease of use. If anything I would like it to be quicker between shots. Any suggestions?
thanks in advace.

The Minolta G500 will be difficult to replace.

It was 5 meg and 3X optical zoom, with a good lens.

I assume you would like to upgrade just a bit since you are getting a new camera.

There are two cameras that you should investigate,
The Sony W50 and W70.

These two are just about the same size as the G500 but thinner. Picture quality is good.

Here is a link to their specifications as compared to the G500:

thank you for your reply.

I never really considered Sony before but after looking at the comparison I most definitly will check them out.
Everyone seems to be pushing me towards the Canon Elf series, I have heard good things about them but that is all from Elf owners.
thanks again

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
