Need a live distro.....

Oct 15, 2009 11:36PM PDT

I can't boot up from Windows on my hard drive. I plan on reinstalling it. But I need to backup some of the files I have on the HD. So I need a live distro which can help copy files from the internal hard drive while running from a 2gb usb flash disk. Can anyone help me?

In such situation I used ubuntu as most friendly distro. It can be downloaded from torrents at http://www.picktorrent.com or from official site.

Mandriva One

I would use Mandriva One, is much easier to use than Ubuntu/Kubuntu. Just go to the Mandriva official site and download it for free.
