That you can't know until you install and try it. There is test gear to test such setups but the test gear is over a million bucks so such work is limited to developers and government work.
Had Verizon DSL and canceled.
Installing OOL Optimum Online (had once before and they installed it where cable enters the house).
I will be using a Linksys WRT54G2 router and a WRE54G.
The 54G2 will be in the lower level on the far side of the house connected directly to the entryway of the cable. The WRE will be by my Tivo, connected directly to get the best signal, on the next floor up about 50-75 ft. away.
Do you think this will be good enough to use the Netflix capabilities of the Tivo?
Also, I have read of horror stories trying to use the WRE. Please be kind. The above have already been purchased and OOL will be installed in the AM.
