Need a Good Gaming Laptop, any Suggestions?

Nov 10, 2009 12:18AM PST

Okay, so I need a good gaming laptop. Mainly, I hope to play the physics-intensive Garry's Mod, as well as more traditional FPSs such as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Left 4 Dead 2, and Half-Life 2.

I would like to have a good gaming laptop, less than or around $1,200, that is powerful enough to play these games close to photorealistic. I do not want it to be greater than 16", because this is intended to be a portable gaming system. I'd also prefer it to be light, but I'm willing to sacrifice it for performance. Lastly, I'd like a good screen resolution, stylish design, but not too many lights and stuff (backlit keyboard is okay).

Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks a lot!

HP dv6-1261sb
and the HP with the quad core as it's video is quite a nice 3D solution.

Both are found in your price range. Both are good lap scorchers.
