Question

Need a document tagging system reccomendation

Sep 16, 2011 6:17AM PDT

My firm produces a great deal of research and cusomized client content. We need a system to allow to tag both specific content as well as documents so that we can organize and retrieve the information in a more catalogued way. Any ideas?

Xerox does that.

That's called a DMS or document management system. I can imagine a small firm may struggle to accept that's what they want.

You might also ask your IT staff to tell you about the possibilities of MS Sharepoint and how they would support that.

Of course, there are more DMS'es around then just these two. You might be able to find a consultant with experience in the field to help you select the one that's best for you.
