DVD combo as in dvd/vcr player?
by ahtoi / February 28, 2009 2:37 AM PST

There isn't that many to choose now-a-day anyway. They should all work with your tv; these combo unit should have a video output connection for the tv at least. Why the question? You have something else in mind?

Panasonic combo
by Dan Filice / February 28, 2009 2:52 AM PST

I have had wonderful luck with Panasonic DVD and VHS decks in the last few years...much better luck than with my Sony combo and my JVC combo. I was ready to buy a replacement combo unit for the bedroom and I was set on a Panasonic that Target has for $279 that upconverts to 1080p (yes, more expensive than the in-house crap that Best Buy sells or the off-brand crud that exists, but well worth it), but I bought a Panasonic BR player instead. I still have an older Panasonic combo unit that works great but it doesn't upconvert, and it's outlasted my other two combo units and it still works perfectly.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
