Need a camcorder ASAP!

With my personal reason, I need a camcorder ASAP.
However, cannot really decide which camcorder is good for me.
I want handy, good HD screen, and easy to use with good design.
I was thinking about Nikon or Sony but one of my friends recommended Samsung camcorder.
She just sent me one article talks about Samsung HMX-H100P has been voted as the best HD camcorder in Belgium.
However, I want more opinions about this model.
So if you guys ever heard about this model or actually used it before, can you let me know is this worth to buy?

Samsung

The Samsung HMX-H106 is the high-end of the HMX family and has gotten pretty good reviews. In the U.S. we only have the HMX-100 (no P) I haven't seen anything about the H100P.
