It will cost you a little less then what you are looking for but pretty much what you need. I believe you will get the best answers if you look them up yourself. But they both are the same, just the HG20 has a 60GB HDD (5.5hrs of 1080P) and the HG21 has 120GB HDD(11hrs of 1080P) It does have a built in hdmi port to connect right to your tv without editing. Works both with Mac and PC. It is i think the most highly recommended by CNET if I'm not mistaken. And here is a little video someone threw together for everyone looking into buying you. And mind you, this was downgraded to 720P for youtube.

I recently got a new TV which is 1080p 120hz LN40A650 now I know this question does not belong here but I will throw it in. I know the TV supports 24/60 and pretty much every format i've thrown at it but can it accept 120 frames? And does any camera even have that? Anyways I want a 1080p camera that I can use to record random things like landscape closeups of stuff dark stuff etc that will show every pixel on my tv. So 1080p at least 60 frames and not have ridiculous compression because I would like to just plug it directly in my ps3 and play the HD content that way without burning it or anything. My budget is under 1000 bux. Something portable please. Any specific suggestions thanks. Because from what I understand some 1080 cameras have ridiculous compression and propriatery software which would mess with me wanting to just plug it in my ps3 and or directly save the files on it.
