Question

Navigating my computer files via Samsung LN46C670

Aug 3, 2015 9:06AM PDT

I have a Samsung LN46C670 and recently discovered, when I hooked up my new computer via the wireless connection, that I can play files from my computer on the TV. It, theoretically, allows me to access videos, music and photos via the TV. The problem is, when I try to do that, there are no files to be found in the folders the TV seems to be accessing. How do I navigate to the correct folder on my computer, or how do I find the folder that the TV is accessing so that I can move files into it?

I hope this question makes sense. It's difficult to word it properly when I don't really know what I'm talking about. Wink

Thanks!

Your files are shared by windows media player. The technology is called DLNA. You can install any other DLNA server such as mezzmo, serviio, or samsung link.

Thanks. Your response led me on a hunt and I discovered that I had to install Samsung's PC Share Manager. Bingo! It works!
