Spyware, Viruses, & Security forum

Can anyone please help me? I am not at all techy so plain English simple step by step instructions please!! I have a virus on my computer which puts ads and popups everywhere, and turns random words in text into a hyperlink advert type thingy. If I click on the ? on the ad it takes me to a page that says Nav-Links.com. I don't know how I got it, there is nothing obvious on my uninstall list, I'm wary of downloading any of the @instant fixes' that come up when I do a search on Google. I have tried running Avast ad MalwareBytes, but neither of them finds it!
Please help, it's driving me potty!!

This seems like it has worked, sometimes I don't see anything for a bit anyway, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Do I have to run the same thing on every user on the computer? Or will doing it on one take it off the others too?

You have other users with administration privileges, I would recommend you scan on every user, just to be safe.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
