General discussion

Natali and Brian T.

Feb 24, 2009 5:54AM PST

I vote that Natali and Brian T. not host at the same time to avoid the awkward tension usually presented by the "flirting". Brian, it's painful to listen to.

hitting on Natali
Feb 24, 2009 3:32PM PST

Amen! I'm glad someone said it. Brian's ok, but Natali really doesn't seem to be into him. In contrast, there was real on air chemistry between that dude (Jeff?) from the 404 and Natali.

Is bol a *serious* news show
Feb 24, 2009 4:11PM PST

Brian is trying to do a fun light hearted show. When he does shows with just Molly it turns into girlee giggle fest which is really fun but can descend in to chaos pretty fast.

Nat consistently sucks the wind out of the fun elements and is trying to do a serious news show. I do hope she learns to lighten up..

ngo

ohh Nat's constant references to her father is getting a bit creepy.

I've never seen the live feeds...

... but as a point of curiosity, does Natali have a video feed into the studio (i.e. can she see the other guys)?

As I've said elsewhere, banter with three other guys is pretty darned hard over audio-only.

I've noticed that she suddenly launches into another point cutting off the other guys quite often, and wondered if that's because she only has an audio feed to the CNET WC offices.

Natali is not in on the joke

Seems like Brian is just joking around (I mean, come on, half of every show where he guest hosts is him cracking up at something), and Natali takes it more personally. I agree that in-room chemistry is hard to match remotely.
