Question

NAP role in Google SERP

Mar 30, 2016 5:53AM PDT

Does NAP (name, address, phone number) is still considered in Google SERP. I know that NAP details on various directories should be same and these criterion effects google SERP. Still it is ongoing?

What would be the use of having different addresses in different directories? Most often, one of them would be wrong and that's not what you want.

In case, if some one forget to update their details in some directories then that will affect SERP ranking?

(NT) Yes. Kees noted why it would.
