Since it's not a critical Windows component and IF the computer is your's, you should be able to uninstall it.

Ever since I got my Gateway FX laptop last summer I've had this little thing always running called NAOMF.exe with a little icon next to the clock on the bottom right corner of my desktop. My Kaspersky anti virus (I'm running the 2010 version) tells me that it's "legal software that can be used by criminals for damaging your computer or personal data PDM. Suspicious driver installation". The criticality of it's vulnerability is listed under "High".
I would like to know just what exactly is this program and should I remove it? I've googled for it and couldn't quite find a straight answer.
